Evil Geniuses has announced that they have officially moved in-game leader Nicholas "NaturE" Garrison to the reserve lineup ahead of the VCT 2026 season.

The VCT 2025 season was full of highs and lows that ultimately saw the former VALORANT world champions continue their struggles to return to the international stage. Heading into the VCT 2026 season, Evil Geniuses have been busy rebuilding their entire lineup in their efforts to piece together a more competitive lineup heading into the VCT 2026 season. Now, those changes have continued as it has been revealed by Evil Geniuses that they have officially moved in-game leader NaturE to the reserve lineup.

    What’s next for Evil Geniuses?

The team had already parted ways with Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker, Derrek "Derrek" Ha, and Jacob "icy" Lange following their VCT 2025 season, leaving only NaturE and Phat "supamen" Le as the remaining players from the year prior. While NaturE will still remain with the team as a reserve on the lineup, it is uncertain what this will mean for the veteran IGL. For now, NaturE will remain a part of the organisation as he looks to make his way back to the tier one level. Regardless, this change marks the end of a two-year tenure with NaturE as the starting IGL for Evil Geniuses ever since joining at the start of the 2024 season.

As for Evil Geniuses, it has been rumored that they will be reuniting with Corbin Daniel "C0M" Lee to take over the in-game leader role. This will mark his return to the organization that he won VALORANT Champions 2023 with as he aims to help the team climb back into championship contention.

It will be interesting to see how the new Evil Geniuses lineup performs at the start of the VCT 2026 season and whether they can return to the international stage.
