After many months of inactivity and questions about his future in Valorant, Ricky "floppy" Kemery has announced that himself and the organization that he has been part of for many years, will be forging their own paths. This officially ends the mystery of Floppy and Cloud9.

It was no secret in the Valorant community that Floppy had been distancing himself from the game since July, as it was reported that he had the least amount of hours played amongst Tier 1 professional signed players. In the post, Floppy reveals that the grind of the past 7 years in the FPS scene has taken a toll on him mentally. He will be taking a short break before looking at all options, including; returning to CSGO, continuing Valorant or becoming a full time streamer.

As for now, Cloud 9 will continue with a six-man roster, that includes the newly welcomed Anthony "vanity" Malaspina. He will be taking over the IGL role for the roster, which could very well be the next step they need to enter the upper echelon of the North American Valorant scene.

    That Cloud9 Blue roster includes:

United States Mitch “mitch” Semago United States Nathan “leaf” Orf South Korea Son “xeta” Seon-ho United States Erick “Xeppaa” Bach United States Anthony "vanity" Malaspina United States Michael “poiz” Possi
