Fnatic announce new coaches for the 2025 VCT Season

After a week of rumors and speculation, Fnatic have officially announced Milan "Milan" de Meij as the team's new Head Coach for the remainder of the VCT Season. Also joining the team will be the former Natus Vincere man Erik "d00mbr0s" Sandgren, who will help guide Fnatic as the squad's new Assistant Coach.

Fnatic's latest announcement comes less than two weeks after letting go of former Head Coach Elmapuddy following the team's early exit from VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - EMEA Kickoff. Now, the European powerhouse are ready to right the ship before the start of the VCT 2025 - EMEA Stage 1 in hopes of returning to the international stage once more.

Milan: A First Time for Everything

Fnatic's new Head Coach Milan was quick to be promoted after just five months as the team's Assistant Coach. Now, the Dutchman will take on the task of returning Fnatic to their former glory in what will be his first time ever assuming the position of Head Coach for a VCT team.

Lucky for Milan, Fnatic's new Head Coach will have one of the most experienced figures in the VCT guiding him every step of the way. After several years working with the FPX/NAVI core, d00mbr0s has finally found in a new place to call home in the form of the Fnatic VALORANT team.

With a proven track record that includes an international trophy from VCT 2022 - Stage 2 - Masters Copenhagen, d00mbr0s' experience will prove invaluable for Fnatic moving forward as the team looks to combine the strengths of the Swedish mastermind and Milan's fresh new perspective in an attempt to breathe new life into this Fnatic squad.

With VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Masters Bangkok 2025 soon underway, Fnatic's absence from the tournament may prove fruitful yet. If the team has any hopes of returning for Stage 1 in full strength, then Fnatic will need to use this time wisely in order to get the squad as much practice under their new coaches.
