After missing out on both VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Masters London 2026 and the EWC - Esports World Cup 2026, FURIA is set to make changes to its VALORANT lineup. According to a report by THESPIKE Brazil, the organization has reached a verbal agreement with Fabian "Shyy" Usnayo. The Chilean player, who currently plays for BESTIA but has formed a part of both Leviatán and KRÜ Esports in the past, is set to return to the VCT after nearly a year away.

Additionally, FURIA will also bring up the 19-year old Brazilian Luis Henrique "basic" Tessaro, who has been on the bench since 2025. The two newcomers would arrive to replace Torogul "alym" Baidyldaev and Michael "nerve" Yerrow on the starting lineup. It's worth noting that both players have already been informed that they no longer form a part of the team's plans for the remainder of the season.

Though the signing of basic was announced by the organization back in July of last year, the young player is yet to make his VCT debut due to visa issues initially, and then simply because FURIA decided to give the player some additional time to adapt to a new country and league.

    FURIA VALORANT Roster:

    • Canada Daniel "eeiu" Vucenovic
    • Canada Gianfranco "koalanoob" Potestio
    • Brazil Arthur "artzin" Araujo
    • Brazil Luis Henrique "basic" Tessaro
    • Chile Fabian "Shyy" Usnayo
    • Brazil Ian "shaW" Jardim (Head Coach)
    • Brazil Lucas "Kamino" Kamino (Assistant Coach)

As for alym and nerve, both players were signed by FURIA for the start of the VCT 2026 season, and immediately helped guide the team to the trophy at VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Americas Kickoff, earning a spot at VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Masters Santiago 2026 in the process. Despite the hot start, the two players saw a drop in form throughout VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Americas Stage 1 as well as at the EWC - Esports World Cup 2026: Americas Qualifier.

For his part, Shyy won the VCL 2026 - Latin America South: Stage 1 earlier this year, and was then signed by BESTIA for the VCL 2026 - Latin America South: Stage 2. His most recent stint in the VCT came with KRÜ during the VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Americas Stage 2, where the team finished in 7th-8th place before opting for a rebuild ahead of the new year.
