FURIA officially announce their new international lineup led by artzin
FURIA has officially announced their new VALORANT lineup for the coming VCT season. For the first time in the organization's history in the game, FURIA's lineup will feature more foreign players than Brazilian players, signaling a new direction for the team.
Meet the New FURIA
The team's coaching staff will remain the same as the one that finished last season, with coach Ian "shaW" Jardim and assistant coach Lucas "Kamino" Kamino leading the charge. When it comes to the players, though, several new faces are arriving.
In fact, the only remaining player for FURIA who was signed in 2025 is Luis "basic" Henrique. The 19-year-old Brazilian, however, is only staying as a substitute. As for the team's starting lineup, here's what it will look like:
FURIA's 2026 Roster
-
Daniel "eeiu" Vucenovic
-
Gianfranco "koalanoob" Potestio
-
Michael "nerve" Yerrow
-
Torogul "alym" Baidyldaev
-
Arthur "artzin" Araujo
Luis "basic" Henrique (Substitute)
Ian "shaW" Jardim (Coach)
Lucas "Kamino" Kamino (Assistant coach)
With an entirely new lineup, and an international one for that matter, FURIA will enter the 2026 VCT season under significant pressure for results. It's worth noting that the Brazilian team went winless in both stages of the VCT Americas in 2025, and will need to break a two-year streak without qualifying for playoffs in the region. What's more, FURIA's last appearance at an international tournament took place three years ago.
The question now is: will going international prove to be the answer to FURIA's problems?
