Giants Gaming announce pipsoN, Meddo & hoody transfer

GIANTX today have announced that their coach, Daniil "pipsoN" Meshcheryakov and players Aaro "hoody" Peltokangas & Johan "Meddo" Renbjörk Lundborg will be transferred to another team, which has yet to be unveiled.

Giants have been in impressive form lately, a third place finish in the Red Bull Home Ground - #2 - Main Event and 5th-6th in the LVP - Rising Series - Finale. The European lineup were starting to make their mark and locking down results against the best in the region, taking down the likes of FunPlus Phoenix, Fnatic, FUT Esports and TENSTAR in the Red Bull Home Ground #2.

It’s to no surprise that hoody has been picked up by another team, with an impressive rating of 1.23 and an ACSS of 243, it is clear he has been consistently improving his game whilst playing under the Spanish organisation.

Meddo will follow in the footsteps of hoody in the transfer, they have been teammates since January this year when they joined Giants and keeping that partnership that has seen Giants on the rise will be the key factor for their new home if they do join the same team.

Joining the two players on the transfer is pipsoN, their former player turned coach who joined back in January as player and in May turned to coaching.

While nothing is official, there are a lot of rumours in the EMEA community that some of these players (if not all) will be joining G2 Esports after the disappointing result of not qualifying for the VCT 2021 - VALORANT Champions 2021.
