Global Esports has officially signed former TALON coach FrosT as their new Head Coach ahead of the VCT 2026 season.

The VCT 2025 season is one that could be summarized by several missed opportunities and struggling points for Global Esports as the team failed to make any competitive strides in their third season of VCT franchising. As a result, Global Esports has looked to former TALON Head Coach FrosT as they set their sights on qualifying for VCT international tournaments in the 2026 season.

    Who is FrosT?

FrosT’s tenure with TALON was cut short following their VCT 2025 season after it was revealed that Riot Games would be removing the Thai organization from the VALORANT franchising system. As a result, FrosT and the rest of the TALON core were in search of a new organization going into the VCT 2026 season. Now, FrosT will join Global Esports ahead of the new season, where he will be responsible for helping rebuild the struggling VALORANT team into a championship-caliber lineup.

FrosT is a veteran Head Coach in the VALORANT landscape, where he has found success as leader for multiple esports organizations.

He was most recently seen leading TALON to a third place finish in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Pacific Stage 2, but was unable to qualify to VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Valorant Champions due to an overall lack of Championship Points.

As for Global, the franchised VALORANT team has struggled to find success at the tier one level and has yet to qualify for a VCT playoffs.

It will be interesting to see if FrosT can help Global Esports rebuild their VALORANT lineup into a competitive squad in the 2026 season. For now, both parties will look to use the remainder of the VALORANT offseason to solidify the rest of their team right before VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Pacific Kickoff, starting on January 20, 2026.
