One month ago, Kim "glow" Min-soo has announced his retirement as a professional VALORANT player with Vision Strikers. Today the same team announced that he will be joining them again as a coach.

Glow has been around the esports industry for a long time back dating to the old CS1.6 days. After that, he was playing as a professional CS:GO player for MVP PK for more than three years and retired in March 2020 to eventually join Vision Strikers in VALORANT. With the Korean team in VALORANT, he won every single tournament they participated in except the last and most important one, the qualifier to VCT Stage 2 Masters where they fell to NUTURN, the team that ended up 3rd in Reykjavik.

After the heavy loss to NUTURN, rumours started spreading around that glow was thinking of retiring and in fact was confirmed by him in mid-May. After that, Vision Strikers confirmed the addition of two new players, Yu "BuZz" Byung-chul and Kim "MaKo" Myeong-kwan. With glow transitioning to a coach role, it will definitely help the team chances to make it to Berlin for the Stage 3 Masters thanks to his experience in the in-game leader role. The South Korea region has two slots available rather than the one they had available for Reykjavik.

With this roster update, Vision Strikers are now: South Korea Kim "Zest" Ki-seok South Korea Lee "k1Ng" Seung-won South Korea Goo "Rb" Sang-Min South Korea Kim "stax" Gu-taek South Korea Yu "BuZz" Byung-chul South Korea Kim "MaKo" Myeong Gwan

South Korea Pyeon "termi" Seon-ho (Head coach) South Korea Kwon "Argency" Soon-woo (Coach) South Korea Kim "glow" Min-soo (Coach)
