KOI has expanded its roster with the addition of Tobias "ShadoW" Flodström, Kamil "kamo" Frąckowiak, and Bartosz "UNFAKE" Bernacki.

KOI Expand its roster with 3 addition

ShadoW, a seasoned player in the competitive scene, has showcased his expertise with teams like FunPlus Phoenix, Team Vitality, and Giants Gaming. In 2023, he elevated Apeks to prominence, leading them to first-place finishes in VCL NE: Polaris Splits 1 and 2. Despite their impressive run, Apeks narrowly missed out on promotion to the EMEA partnership league, losing to Gentle Mates in the Ascension grand finals. Second transfer of KOI, kamo, kicked off his professional journey with NOM Esports in 2022, achieving notable successes with two top-three finishes in VCL East Stages 1 and 2. Later that year, he briefly joined DSYRE, securing a first-place victory at the VCL Dach Evolution tournament. In 2023, he contributed to GTZ Esports' achievements, clinching double second-place finishes in VCL: Portugal splits and reaching the top-four in EMEA Ascension play-ins. UNFAKE, formerly of Team Queso, has been a consistent performer since 2021, achieving multiple top-eight finishes. During the latest season, Queso mirrored GTZ's success, securing second-place finishes in both splits of VCL Spain and reaching the top-four at Ascension play-ins.

KOI, after securing a spot in the inaugural EMEA partnership league, built a strong roster featuring Jose "koldamenta" Luis Aranguren and Berkant "Wolfen" Joshkun. However, their journey was challenging, marked by an initial loss to NRG Esports at LOCK//IN and a subsequent failure to qualify for league playoffs. KOI found stability at EMEA LCQ, securing wins against Team Heretics and Natus Vincere. Despite their efforts, they finished third, falling short of a Champions appearance after a defeat to NAVI.

In this revamped roster, while Koldamenta's future with the team remains uncertain at this time, kamo and ShadoW will be the main players, with UNFAKE and Wolfen serving as reserves. The team is gearing up for their debut under this lineup at the Crossfire Cup 2023 playoffs, scheduled for November 1.
