Leviatan and Rossy go separate ways after short stint
Leviatán announced via their X account that they have also parted ways with Daniel "Rossy" Abedrabbo. This move comes less than a week after the team also released 2023 Champions MVP, Max "Demon1" Mazanov. Rossy's tenure with Leviatan lasted just a few months, before being put on the bench and then finally parting ways with the team.
Rossy joined Leviatan in March, shortly after the squad’s 5th-6th finish at VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Americas Kickoff. He was signed to replace Nathan "nataNk" Bocqueho, with hopes of elevating Leviatan’s overall ceiling. However, the anticipated turnaround didn’t materialize. Leviatan concluded VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Americas Stage 1 with a disappointing 9th-10th place finish, failing to benefit from the roster change in any tangible way.
Aftermath
Following these results, both Rossy and Demon1 were benched, and now have been let go in quick succession. For Rossy, this marks yet another abrupt ending. After a one-year stint with T1 in 2023-24, he saw a brief two-month stay with Cloud9, where despite some promising off-season results, he was dropped before the season began.
Notably, his departure from Cloud9 was less amicable than his current situation as both Leviatan and Rossy have expressed mutual respect and gratitude in their parting social posts. Rossy addressed his situation on X, reflecting:
"It has been a rough year for me individually as I have been gifted a very unique set of circumstances. Regardless, opportunities are opportunities and I am deeply blessed. LFT as an unrestricted free agent."
The Road Ahead
Rossy’s career spans both the Americas and Pacific regions, giving him a kind of experience that very few can boast of. This makes him a valuable asset in the competitive scene. Although he is currently looking for a team, it is almost certain that his skills and international exposure will attract new offers soon. For now, Rossy steps into the free agent pool, preparing for his next challenge.
