mCe becomes new coach of Gen.G
Gen.G Esports have announced a new head coach in the form of Matthew “mCe” Elmore, previously coaching Chaos Esports Club in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Their previous coach, Andrew “Blank” Leverette, will be transitioning into a managerial role.
mCe has been coaching in CS:GO since 2017, and prior to that was a player dating back to 2015. He’s worked with teams such as Ghost Gaming and Rogue. He joined Chaos early in 2020, and helped them become a dangerous up-and-coming squad until the team’s disband late in the year.
mCe is yet another change to Gen.G’s VALORANT operation after Keven "PLAYER1" Champagne was replaced with Kenneth "koosta" Suen just before the first VALORANT Champions Tour open qualifier. With the organization qualified for Challengers #1 beginning in just a few days, we’ll get to see his official coaching debut shortly.
Gen.G are now:
Anthony “gMd” Guimond Danny “HUYNH” Huynh Michael “MkaeL” De Luca Shawn “Shawn” O’Riley Kenneth “koosta” Suen
Matthew “mCe” Elmore (Coach)
