South Americas partnered team mibr announced that it has completed its starting five with Arthur "artzin" Araujo, Matheus "mazin" Araújo, and signed LOUD's former head coach Danny "fRoD" Montaner.

MIBR sign with artzin and mazin

artzin initially struggled at Stars Horizon and gained recognition after joining 00Nation in late 2022. Most notably, he achieved 2nd place in VALORANT Challengers 2023: Brazil Split 1 and Split 2 while representing 00Nation. Despite his team's impressive performance in Split 2, artzin left the squad when 00Nation disbanded in August.

Another player that MIBR completed its roster is mazin, who started his career at B4 Esports.. Joining FURIA in May 2022, mazin has been fighting for FURA for 2 years and 2 months since then. During this time, the 24-year-old has participated in more than 15 tournaments with FURIA, qualifying for VALORANT Champions in 2021 by placing first in the VCT 2021: South America Last Chance Qualifier. However, things didn't go his way in the Major and they finished the tournament in 13th - 16th place. In 2022, mazin wrote the same story with FURIA, finishing in 2nd place in VCT 2022: South America Last Chance Qualifier and earning a ticket to VALORANT Champions 2022, but returned home in 13th-16th place again. In 2023, mazin and FURIA missed qualifying for VALORANT Champions 2023, with the 5th position at the VCT 2023: Americas Last Chance Qualifier.

fRoD takes over in mibr

MIBR's coaching staff received a significant boost with the addition of fRoD, the 37-year-old coach who led LOUD to notable successes in the 2023 VCT season. Under his guidance, LOUD secured a 2nd place finish at VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo and clinched the top spot in the VCT 2023: Americas League with 8 wins and 1 loss. Although they faced a setback in VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo, finishing 7th/8th, LOUD rebounded and claimed the 3rd place at VALORANT Champions 2023, trailing behind Evil Geniuses and Paper Rex.

MIBR's strategic move to sign fRoD demonstrates their commitment to the American League, aiming to replicate the successes he achieved with LOUD.
