MOUZ announces complete VALORANT roster for 2025
On January 16, 2025, German esports organization MOUZ revealed their revamped VALORANT roster for the upcoming 2025 season. This announcement follows the confirmed signings of Taranvir "bipo" Singh and Jacob "Lime" Foster, along with a new assistant coach, Youssef "Rexorion" Mohseni. The changes signal a fresh approach for the team as they aim to elevate their competitive standing in 2025.
Key Roster Changes: Out with the Old, In with the New
The arrival of bipo and Lime comes in the wake of significant departures. Former team members Tselmeg "xuss" Tsolmon and Krzysztof "starki" Lewandrowski parted ways with MOUZ in October 2024. Their exit created space for the organization to bring in new talent and rebuild their strategy for the season ahead.
Meet the New Duelist: bipo
Taranvir "bipo" Singh has already made an impression within the MOUZ lineup. Having competed with the team during the A1 eSports Valorant Cup - Invitational 2024 in December, bipo showcased stellar performances that helped MOUZ secure a first-place finish. A Duelist specialist, bipo brings exceptional proficiency with agents like Jett, Neon, and Raze, making him a critical addition to the team. His official signing as MOUZ’s primary Duelist comes as no surprise and sets high expectations for his role in their 2025 campaign.
A Valuable Asset: Lime
Jacob "Lime" Foster, also part of the A1 eSports Invitational 2024 roster, has officially joined MOUZ as well. While Lime's statistics during the tournament may not have stood out, his contributions as a Controller and Initiator were crucial. Acting as the second Initiator alongside IGL Ilari "iluri" Puranen, Lime provided vital map control and utility usage. Whether this role dynamic will evolve or remain consistent in 2025 is a question that fans are eager to see answered.
Aiming for the Top
MOUZ’s 2024 season was a tale of highs and lows. The team captured the title at the VCL 2024 - DACH Evolution Split 2, but their performance at VCT 2024 - Ascension: EMEA fell short of expectations. With bipo and Lime joining the roster and Rexorion stepping in as assistant coach, MOUZ is gearing up for what they hope will be a breakthrough season, allowing them to push past the Tier 2 ceiling and establish itself as a contender in Tier 1 VALORANT.
Whether these moves will propel them to the top tier of competitive VALORANT remains to be seen, but the team’s renewed focus is bound to make them a contender to watch.
