Olizera becomes fourth restricted free agent from Apeks

The Apeks rebuild continues as Diogo "OLIZERA" Oliveira becomes the fourth player to be allowed to explore options as a restricted free agent. The Portuguese Sentinel announced his LFT status on X, citing his hunger to compete on stage again. He joins Mehmet Batu "batujnax" ÖZASLAN, Michał "MOLSI" Łącki, and Auni "AvovA" Chahade in looking for new opportunities ahead of the offseason.

Recruited as a Rookie

OLIZERA joined Apeks in late June 2025, just before VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - EMEA Stage 2, alongside fellow newcomer Erik "penny" Penny. It was the org’s final shot at staying in the VCT after a rough first half of the year. Coming off a strong showing with KOI’s academy team, KOI Fénix, OLIZERA made his VCT debut during Stage 2. He had just finished third in the VCL 2025 - EMEA: Stage 2 and was one of the top five rated players in the event.

While his individual performances remained solid on Apeks, the Portuguese player struggled to help the team find success and has yet to win a match in the VCT. On Apeks, he stayed in his signature Sentinel role, primarily playing Cypher, with occasional appearances on Viper, Vyse, and Killjoy.

OLIZERA continues his search for a team as a Sentinel player and is open to relocating to other regions if necessary. When AvovA announced that he was LFT, he praised OLIZERA as a great teammate and someone who deserves to be in the VCT.

One Man Left Standing

At the end of August, Apeks players began announcing—one after another—that they were looking for new teams. With batujnax, MOLSI, AvovA, and now OLIZERA all seeking new opportunities, only one man remains on the active roster. Penny has yet to make a public statement about his future so whether he will also become a restricted free agent remains to be seen.
