After playing for a month and a half without an organization since cutting ties with BearClaw Gaming, Korean Masters semifinalists Team MUYAHO have found an organization. They’ll be representing the esports side of Rio Company, a player agency begun by two former BearClaw staff members and people who have been working with the roster for some time, Steven Kim and Yu “Pavane” Hyeon-sang.

MUYAHO were rated as one of Korea’s best rosters coming in to Masters, and performed up to expectations, winning their group and falling in the semifinals to NUTURN. They will be making one roster change moving to their new organization - Kim "Harry" Han-gyu has joined TNL Esports, so Rio Company will be using Jeong "Esperanza" Jin-cheol, formerly of T1 Korea, instead. Though previously a flex player, with time on supports and duelists, Esperanza has been playing Sentinels lately, making him a perfect fit to fill Harry’s spot. He’ll also be reuniting with Choi "10X" Jin-woo, who was also with T1 Korea.

With VALORANT’s popularity in Korea waning and more and more pros moving to the Japanese scene, it’s always good to see a new organization get involved. Rio Company should be aiming for a top four spot again, and with improvements, could maybe challenge for Korea’s spot at Masters in Reykjavik.

    Rio Company is:

South Korea Choi “10X” Jin-woo South Korea Jeon “GANA” Hyeong-heon South Korea Kang “iNTRO” Seung-gyun South Korea Yu “BuZz” Byung-chul South Korea Jeong “Esperanza” Jin-cheol

South Korea Yoo “Locomotive” Jung-sun (Coach)
