Riot Games announces G-Loot Clash tournament

Riot Games has just announced via a blog post that the G-Loot Clash tournament will be the latest addition to the Valorant Champions Tour 2022 Off-Season. The tournament will take place between October 19th and November 27th, where the top 16 teams from the EMEA region, including a team of casters and analysts, will square off against each other to prove themselves before the new season kicks off. Riot Games has also revealed that signups for qualifiers will begin on October 3rd.

According to the statement, the G-Loot Clash tournament is set to begin on October 19th, with the qualifiers divided into three regions; EU West, EU East, and Turkey & MENA. Participants will have to put on a great showing to clinch their tentative spot at the Showdown stage. All the qualifiers will be completed on October 23rd to determine who will compete against G-Loot Brawl teams in the next round.

The top eight teams from the qualifiers, as well as four teams from G-Loot Brawl, will compete in the Showdown stage. Riot Games claimed that all teams have an equal chance of qualifying for the tournament, with only four teams receiving a ticket to the Showdown based on the game stats tracked on the G-Loot App. The second stage will run from October 28th to October 30th.
