Sangal Esports have been getting into VALORANT for a while, beginning with former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player Berk "Rip" Tepe and then Turkish VALORANT player Muhammed "mini" Salman. But they really made a splash when they brought StartedFromCS player Beyazit "beyAz" Körpe into the fold. Today, Sangal have completed their lineup with the signings of Tolga "bacyx" Bacak, Ibrahim "lurzy0y0" Sandıkcı, and coach Bora “Maiko” İğci.

Bacyx and lurz were both semi-professional CS:GO players from deep inside the Turkish scene, but, especially in the case of bacyx, have had much more success since switching to VALORANT. Bacyx was a member of Turkish unsigned squad Apexis, for whom he mostly played Jett. Apexis’ biggest success was when they qualified and participated in The Vitality European Open , though they finished last in their group without winning a game. Lurz’ only VALORANT event so far was the Spike Cup, in which his team finished second in their group before falling to looking4org in the semifinals and Team g4ndhi in the 3rd place match.

Many organizations are finalizing teams ahead of First Strike, and Sangal is no different. With a massive Turkish fanbase behind them, and a proven winner in beyAz to build around, Sangal have a very solid foundation. Now, all that remains to come is the success.

    Sangal Esports are:

Turkey Berk "Rip" Tepe Turkey Muhammed "mini" Salman Turkey Beyazit "beyAz" Körpe Turkey Tolga “bacyx” Bacak Turkey Ibrahim “lurz” Sandıkcı

    Turkey Bora “Maiko” İğci (Coach)
