Sentinels officially part ways with N4RRATE

Sentinels has officially bid goodbye to Marshall "N4RRATE" Massey after one and a half years on the squad. The org is now in the middle of rebuilding its roster after a disappointing run at VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Americas Kickoff, hoping to field a stronger lineup heading into VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Americas Stage 1.

When Sentinels bombed out of Kickoff without a single match win, the organization decided it was necessary to bring in new players. The latest addition is Jonah "JonahP" Pulice from G2 Esports, a strong support player. To make room for the new arrivals, Sentinels has chosen to part ways with N4RRATE.

N4RRATE’s VCT journey started in EMEA when he joined Karmine Corp in 2023, where he played for a year. His performance there impressed Sentinels, leading to his move to the Americas during the 2024 offseason. Since then, he has filled the flex role on the roster. With his help, Sentinels became one of the strongest teams in the Americas during 2025, only being bested by G2.

During Kickoff, he mostly played as either the primary or secondary Duelist. However, both his and the team’s performances fell short of expectations. N4RRATE himself has acknowledged this on social media, saying his performance hasn’t been up to par and apologizing to fans.

Rumors circulate

N4RRATE’s departure marks the second confirmed roster move for Sentinels — and likely not the last. Rumors of none other than Tyson "TenZ" Ngo returning to the squad have yet to be confirmed or denied. With a few weeks left before Stage 1, the org still has time to finalize its roster and build the strongest possible lineup to regain momentum as they aim to get back to the top.

There are also rumors circulating about N4RRATE’s next move. The current speculation suggests he could return to his former organization, Karmine Corp. A move back to EMEA and his old team might be exactly what he needs to come back stronger on the international stage.
