Begrip Gaming replace Unbreakable with cyberDMG
Begrip Gaming entered the VALORANT scene even before the closed beta was launched. The European mix was invited to a few tournaments but also took part in the online qualifiers and other competitive events hosted by the community.
The team was in the spotlight for a while, mostly because of the fact that the organization has decided to acquire the squad that early. Without much notice or echo in the community, the management of Begrip Gaming took action to do some changes in the squad. With this being said, the first rumors about Florian “Unbreakable” Nagel leaving the roster, has appeared just a week after the VALORANT team was officially introduced.
As more news was coming to the light about Begrip Gaming being invited to various tournaments (such as Absolute Masters that is starting on May 12th), we could spot a small change in the lineup. Florian “Unbreakable” Nagel was replaced with a Polish player, Mikołaj “cyberDMG” Łapacz, and started to play together with the team from that time.
Łapacz, in the interview for Cybersport.pl, has revealed some details about his signing with the organization. He explains how he met one of the players, Miho “Miho” Shockolade, in the CS:GO Ladder operated by a gaming platform ESL Play. This situation happened before the release of the closed beta of VALORANT, but the players remained in good contact and once the opportunity appeared, Shockolade reached to him with an offer of tryouts as Miho was already a contracted Begrip Gaming player at that time.
cyberDMG also confirms in the mentioned interview, that Florian “Unbreakable” Nagel was revoked from the team due to internal conflicts between him and the players.
This is the first time that Mikołaj “cyberDMG” Łapacz is playing professionally under the wings of an organization. However, he was always an active gamer, and played in various FPS titles, as it is the genre that in his opinion suits him best.
The team with a new roster has participated in a few tournaments already and claimed the 2nd place in the Beta Stacks’ Community Tournament and finished the second edition of LAVA Series in 3rd/4th place.
Begrip Gaming roster after the change:
Taha “WILLSTARZ” Güven
Fabien Mathias “28CM” Hahn
Miho “Miho” Shockolade
Oliver “R32” Fisker
Mikołaj “cyberDMG” Łapacz
