T1 has claimed their first major international VALORANT title with a thrilling 3-2 victory over G2 Esports in the Grand Final of VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Masters Bangkok 2025. The victory earns them $250,000 and crucial VCT points, positioning them as a top contender for the remainder of the 2025 season.

    Journey to the Finals

Both teams navigated the Swiss Stage with one loss before embarking on different playoff paths.

G2 rebounded from an early loss to EDward Gaming, defeating Team Liquid 2-0. In the playoffs, they dominated tournament favorites Team Vitality before avenging their loss to EDG in the upper bracket final.

Meanwhile, T1 took the lower bracket route. After sweeping DRX 2-0, they fell to EDG but fought back with wins over Vitality and EDG to secure their Grand Final spot.

A Grand Final for the Ages

The Grand Final was an instant classic filled with overtimes, clutches, and momentum swings.

    • Map 1 (Lotus) – T1 started strong but couldn't withstand G2’s aggressive play, losing 5-13.
    • Map 2 (Haven) – G2 led early, but T1’s second-half dominance secured a 13-9 win.
    • Map 3 (Abyss) – T1 led 8-4 before G2 mounted a comeback, closing out the map 13-11.
    • Map 4 (Split) – G2 held an 8-4 lead, but T1 forced overtime and won 15-13.
    • Map 5 (Pearl) – A nail-biting finish saw T1 edge out G2 16-14 in overtime, securing the championship.
