Team BDS have revealed the signing of Vincent "Happy" Cervoni earlier today.

The legendary Frenchman is known for his illustrious CS:GO career where he led the elite squads of Team LDLC and Team EnVyUs to two majors, among many other trophies. After a last hurrah with LDLC in late 2019, Happy made the switch to competitive VALORANT in 2020 with the now disbanded StartedFromCS.

In January this year, GIANTX picked him up but his gig there was short, leaving the squad just a month later to join EXCEL. The European mix were unable to perform, bombing out in Open Qualifiers and unable to make it to main VCT events. After removing Dylan "hoppY" Aube last month, BDS will be taking a risk with the veteran IGL, hoping he can turn around his lacklustre VALORANT career with the French team.

Happy is no slouch for an IGL however, putting up an impressive 1.12 rating and 240 ACS through his time competing. He primarily plays Raze and Sage, but has frequently picked up Omen as of late. It will be interesting to see if he will be the new tactician for Team BDS or if Rodolphe "rodeN" Bianco will continue in the role.

Happy made an instant debut with Team BDS, playing at Red Bull Home Ground - #2 - Main Event. Their lack of practice and cohesion showed, however, as they suffered consecutive losses to Acend, Tenstar, and NAVI, and were knocked out of the tournament.

    Team BDS are now:

France Logan “Logan” Corti France Jonathan “TakaS” Paupard France Rodolphe “rodeN” Bianco France Alex “AKUMAAAAA” Lo Bello France Vincent “Happy” Cervoni
