Team Heretics sign ComeBack ahead of VCT 2026 season to replace MiniBoo

Team Heretics have officially made their first roster change of the VCT offseason, adding Berkcan "ComeBack" Şentürk to their lineup for 2026.

Heretics remained a team with relatively few changes throughout the 2024 and 2025 seasons, thanks to their inspiring runs at VCT 2024 - Masters Shanghai and VCT 2024 - Champions 2024, where they placed second in both tournaments. However, after an inconsistent VCT 2025 season, Heretics will now look to the future without Dominykas "MiniBoo" Lukasevicius, and have picked up a rising star in ComeBack in his stead.

Who is ComeBack?

ComeBack is an up-and-coming 18-year-old EMEA talent who previously played for BBL PCIFIC, and most recently Gentle Mates, where he made his Tier 1 debut in VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - EMEA Stage 2.

Throughout Stage 2, ComeBack was a standout player for Gentle Mates. Despite the team’s 0-5 record in Group Alpha, Gentle Mates were constantly in positions to close out matches against their opponents, primarily from ComeBack’s domineering performances on the likes of Neon and Jett. He will be joining a strong Heretics core that reached the Grand Finals of VALORANT Champions 2024 and finished 5th-6th at VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Valorant Champions.

As for Heretics, 2025 was mostly a step back from their surprising 2024 season. While they were able to maintain their place near the top of VCT EMEA, they were unable to withstand their ground against the likes of Fnatic and Team Liquid domestically.

Now, they will be eyeing both their first international and domestic VCT titles after acquiring the rising Turkish talent. While they already have an international win under their belt through the EWC VALORANT - Esports World Cup 2025, are yet to win an international VCT trophy after several appearances on the global stage. It will be interesting to see how Heretics continue to refine their team as they head into VCT 2026.

Additionally, there has been no information regarding the landing spot of former Heretics player MiniBoo ahead of the new year.
