THESPIKE.GG Beta is out - a few words from the owners

On behalf of the whole team at THESPIKE.GG, we would like to wish you a warm welcome to our beta website, home of competitive VALORANT.

When we first heard about Project A, Riot Games’ First Person Shooter game, it was a no brainer that we had to start working on a project of our own. Our team was already running a similar website for Apex Legends, and we knew that we should shift our focus on this new and promising game.

Over the course of the next months, we will be working very hard on providing the competitive community with the latest news regarding the professional VALORANT scene, as well as developing new and awesome features for everyone to enjoy. The team behind the website are gamers first. We will always put the community on the front row, and we plan on supporting the scene by providing quality content and by being at events, for the best coverage possible.

Few words from Artur “m1nac” Minacov, Co-Founder & CEO

“A lot of you probably recognize my name from my previous projects. For those who do not know me, I would like to quickly take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Artur, but you can call me by my other name: m1nac. I have been an avid FPS gamer since I was 5 years old. I have played over 25,000 hours of Counter-Strike since 1.3 and I always have been a huge competitive dude. I am mostly known around the Counter-Strike community for co-founding & directing OPSKINS. Since that era, I had experience in running my own professional esports organization, as well as developing an FPS video game from scratch. “I have been a competitive FPS gamer all my life - RTCW: ET, Call of Duty 1, 2, 4, Counter-Strike: Source, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive; you name it. Attended lots of LANs always aiming to win; being competitive has always been in me. When Riot Games announced a new competitive FPS game there was no way that I would not play it. It's a refreshing game that was needed in the FPS scene since lately most of the games have been focused on the Battle Royale genre. Creating a website for an FPS game that I love has always been a target for me and that's why we're looking forward to launching THESPIKE.GG with the great team we have with us. I'm really looking forward to seeing all the content our community will be posting in our Forums and can't wait to add many more features that we have in the pipeline on the website.”
