VALORANT Console is coming to Australia and New Zealand

VALORANT Console is finally arriving in Australia and New Zealand, Riot Games has revealed, alongside several new updates coming to the game. Initially released on Xbox X|S and PlayStation 5 in select regions to test and monitor performance, the console version is now expanding to new regions.

VALORANT Console Arrives to Australia and New Zealand

In 2024, Riot Games revealed that VALORANT would expand to consoles in select regions, including North America, Europe, Japan, and Brazil. Two years later, the game is finally coming to console players in Australia and New Zealand.

According to Riot, VALORANT Console will arrive in the region alongside Patch 13.06, which is set to release on September 23, 2026. The game will only be available on ninth-generation consoles, including Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Players will compete on the Sydney server.

While in-game content is shared between PC and console, ranked progression remains separate between the two platforms.

What’s next for VALORANT Console?

Riot Games has not revealed any further details about VALORANT Console expanding to other regions. Many players are still waiting for access to the game, but it remains unclear how long they will have to wait.

For now, players have plenty of new updates to keep track of ahead of VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Champions Shanghai.

The new Warden rifle is coming to the game, alongside changes to the Agent Mastery progression system and a new game mode that pits players against each other in 2v2v2v2 matches, with each team using kits made up of different abilities that reset every round.
