VALORANT Esports World Cup 2025: Top 5 Performers who stole the show
As the dust settles on the EWC VALORANT - Esports World Cup 2025, five standout players rose above the rest with consistently impactful performances throughout the tournament. Whether through sharp mechanics, clutch moments, or leading their teams to deep runs, these players left an indelible mark at the inaugural EWC. Here's a look at the top performers based on overall rating.
All statistics have been taken from THESPIKE.GG with a minimum of 200 rounds played.
1. Chronicle – 1.27 Rating
Despite Fnatic falling short in the Grand Final, Timofey "Chronicle" Khromov was arguably the most consistent and dominant player of the tournament. With a 1.27 rating throughout the tournament, Chronicle provided a steady anchor in both defense and attack.
His ability to convert critical rounds, control space with utility, and shut down aggressive opponents made him Fnatic’s most valuable player. Whether locking down sites or clutching in late-round scenarios, Chronicle’s experience and composure were evident in every match.
2. Wo0t – 1.22 Rating
Mert "Wo0t" Alkan was the superstar of this Team Heretics campaign. The 19-year-old Heretics duelist played with fearless aggression and delivered game-changing impact in crucial moments, particularly in their playoffs run and stunning Grand Final victory over Fnatic.
Finishing with a 1.22 rating, Wo0t’s explosive frags and fearless duels not only elevated Heretics’ tempo but also put immense pressure on enemy defenses. This stellar performance also earned him the MVP of the tournament.
3. t3xture – 1.19 Rating
Kim "t3xture" Na-ra is always the driving force behind Gen.G Esports’s deep runs, and this one was no different. As one of the Pacific region’s most refined aimers, t3xture consistently topped the frag charts and created space for his team. His 1.19 rating reflected not just fragging power, but the frequency of opening kills and high-impact moments.
While Gen.G fell just short of the Grand Final, t3xture’s efforts ensured a 3rd place finish over Paper Rex, and reaffirmed his place as one of the world’s most lethal duelists.
4. Kaajak – 1.17 Rating
One of the tournament’s quieter revelations, Kajetan "kaajak" Haremski emerged as another key contributor in Fnatic’s deep playoff run. Holding a 1.17 rating is proof enough that he was geting a lot of impact as a duelist, especially in high-pressure matches. With him performing well as the primary duelist on Fnatic, it also opened up the rest of the team to arrange their compositions more freely.
With this performance, Kaajak has undoubtedly shed the “rookie” label and established himself as a reliable force on the international stage.
5. f0rsaken – 1.14 Rating
Jason "f0rsakeN" Susanto once again showcased why he remains one of VALORANT’s most dangerous players. His 1.14 rating reflects a mix of calculated aggression and unrelenting pace. Paper Rex’s high-octane style hinges on f0rsaken who can throw opponents off-balance with unpredictable plays.
While PRX couldn’t replicate their VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Masters Toronto 2025 triumph, f0rsaken's individual brilliance and newly found IGL chops kept them in contention long enough to earn 4th place.
