New VALORANT Mobile leaks reveal upcoming football themed bundle

As shown on popular leak account @VALORANTLeaksEN, Riot Games is going to announce a new football themed bundle for VALORANT Mobile, which will include:

• Butterfly Knife
• Vandal skin
• Bandit skin
• Shoes chibis
• Emote
• Yellow and Red card flex

The bundle is incredibly clean and well thought out, especially with the Football World Cup currently underway and the strong connection to the trend of the moment. The Bandit skin features an impressive bouncing ball animation that will certainly catch the attention of football fans. The bundle’s finisher shows a football player scoring a bicycle kick goal, ending in a burst of colour.

The goal of the bundle is clear: to catch the attention of football fans, and in my opinion, Riot has done that in the best way possible. The bundle looks clean, catchy, and the addition of the yellow and red card flex is exactly what it needed.

Community reaction and mobile exclusivity

The community’s reaction has been positive, but one question keeps coming up: why is it only available on mobile?

Fans have clearly loved the bundle, but most of the community will not be able to get it, since VALORANT Mobile is still only available in China. That said, it is worth noting that the mobile version team works under Tencent, so the creative team is not the same. In many cases, they are responsible for adapting PC content to mobile, rather than the other way around.

The same pattern appears in League of Legends with Wild Rift, where many new skins are released only on the mobile version even though PC players would love to have them as well. This is likely a way to differentiate the two games and build a larger content pool for each one, which has its pros and cons.
