VALORANT Patch 10.03 Notes – Minor Adjustments Ahead of Masters Bangkok
As we approach VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Masters Bangkok 2025, VALORANT’s Patch 10.03 delivers another round of small but impactful updates. This patch includes minimap clarity improvements, agent ability consistency tweaks, and several bug fixes.
Due to a Riot holiday, the patch will be deployed on February 19 one day later than usual.
All Platforms Updates
Agent Updates
- Slow effects now properly affect dashes across all agents to ensure consistency.
- This adjustment aligns Chamber, Skye, and Harbor’s slow abilities with changes previously introduced in Patches 9.10 and 9.11 for Vyse and Concuss effects.
Gameplay Systems Updates
- The minimap visual language has been updated for better clarity and fidelity.
- Expect improved readability and better-defined elements to enhance in-game navigation.
Bug Fixes
- General Fixes
- Fixed an issue where explosive damage could destroy Sentinel traps, such as Vyse’s Arc Rose, from outside the intended blast radius.
- As a precaution, the new explosive damage functionality was disabled in Patches 10.01 and 10.02, but it is now re-enabled with further monitoring.
- Gameplay Systems Fixes
- Fixed a bug that prevented players from moving or using the buy menu when the remake vote screen was displayed.
- The remake vote confirmation button is now green, and the decline button is red, making choices more visually distinct.
- Known Issues
- When spectating another player, the first-person camera may sometimes be slightly misaligned from the expected player POV.
PC-Only Updates
Premier Bug Fixes
- Fixed a match score display issue on the tournament bracket screen, where scores occasionally appeared in black.
- Fixed an issue where the tournament bracket was not properly centered on some ultrawide displays.
Console-Only Updates
Social Features
- Players can now add and edit notes for their Riot friends.
- A search function has been added to the friends list, allowing players to filter by player name or tag.
- If players receive more than four party invites, the extra invites will now be hidden, with a ‘Show More’ button to reveal them.
Bug Fixes
Competitive Mode
- Fixed an issue where matches that ended in a remake displayed an incorrect end-of-game screen.
- Fixed a bug where highlighting players on the Leaderboard sometimes selected multiple players at once.
While Patch 10.03 doesn’t bring massive changes, the agent ability consistency updates, minimap clarity improvements, and key bug fixes will help ensure smoother gameplay. With Masters Bangkok Finals just around the corner, these refinements aim to keep VALORANT in top competitive shape.
