VALORANT Patch 10.11 brings finisher cam, Premier rewards, and more
Patch 10.11 for VALORANT has arrived, and while it might not be packed with sweeping meta changes or agent reworks, it delivers meaningful quality-of-life updates and fixes. This patch is all about sharpening the experience, both visually and socially.
Finisher Cam: Clearer Deaths, Less Clutter
The standout feature of this patch is the introduction of the Finisher Cam. Much like the existing Spike Cam, this new feature activates when you’re eliminated by a weapon with a finisher. It helps reduce visual clutter, mitigates photosensitivity concerns, and smooths out camera behavior issues during dramatic finisher animations.
This is a small but thoughtful change, especially for players sensitive to flashing visuals or those running the game on lower-end systems.
Icebox Still on Ice – For DM and Escalation
Icebox remains disabled in Deathmatch and Escalation, as Riot continues to work through some unresolved issues. There's no timeline for its return just yet.
Career Page Remix
To mark the 5th anniversary, the Career page now features a fresh remix of Ego by Qing Madi. It’s a small but stylish update that adds some celebratory flair.
Voice Indicator Clarity
In-game voice indicators have been visually refined, making it easier to see who’s talking—especially helpful during chaotic moments and clutch situations.
Agent Bug Fixes
Patch 10.11 also brings a host of important agent-specific bug fixes, with a focus on observer and spectator experiences. Here’s a quick rundown:
- Fade: Nightfall’s visual indicator now disappears properly for spectators if she dies mid-cast.
- Tejo: Area names removed from Guided Salvo and Armageddon ability maps due to visual overlap.
- Reyna: Leer’s targeting visuals now correctly show for allies, spectators, and observers.
- Waylay: Targeting indicators for Convergent Paths have been fixed across all perspectives.
- Clove: Pick-me-up’s audio is now correctly playing for everyone.
- Chamber: Trademark’s minimap icon now displays team colors for observers.
- Breach: Fault Line’s visual effect now accurately matches its area of effect.
New Premier Rewards
For those deep in the Premier ecosystem, there’s a new reason to rally your 5-stack. The rewards for winning Stage V25A3 Playoffs now include a brand-new player card effect in addition to the classic gun buddy and title. The effect will be visible during the loading screen, so your enemies will know they’re facing winners before the round even begins. To earn the rewards:
- You must still be on the roster after playoffs and have played at least two Weekly matches or one Playoff match.
- Rewards roll out within ~24 hours of the Playoff conclusion.
- The flashy player card effect will activate at the start of V25A4.
Riot has also teased more updates for Premier in a developer video, so stay tuned for what's next.
Performance View Hits Console Competitive
Console players can now access the Performance View post-match to better understand how they matched up against each opponent. It’s a welcome addition to competitive analysis for controller users.
Patch 10.11 may be light, but it’s another sign of Riot’s continued polish. Here’s to another five years of wins and plenty of whiffs.
