VALORANT's new Divergence collection: All confirmed weapons, variants, and potential price
Welcome to a new way of life. Riot Games has introduced a new weapon collection to the game with the start of Act 3 Season 25 with the Divergence weapon bundle, which brings clean designs and beautiful animations, mixed with a distinct shimmering equip and inspect sounds, and finally, A sharp firing sound that pierces through like glass breaking.
The weapon designs are seemingly inspired by the marionette-like soldiers that Viktor transforms his followers into when he becomes the Machine Herald in Arcane season 2. These soldiers have the look of a mannequin, have no facial features, and are made of what seems to be a ceramic-like material that is very strong. They also have shining, bronze-like accents that line their body, similar to the weapons in the collection. The weapons also features a small Hexcore within, that rotates and glows as you fire and rack up kills. All in all, the skin collection is elegant and deadly in the right hands.
All weapons in VALORANT's Divergence collection
There are four weapons in VALORANT's Divergence collection
- Classic
- Judge
- Vandal
- Judge
- Melee
There are three more variants in purple, blue, and green. The melee is a call to Viktor's staff from Arcane when he becomes the Machine Herald. If you buy the bundle, you'll also get a special buddy to add to your weapon in the shape of the Hexcore, along with a player card with a hexcore on it.
There is also a unique finisher where you and your teammates can stand on specific points around the final kill, if the owner of the skin was the one to lock down the last kill of a round. By standing on these points, you and your teammates will be transported to an alternate dimension. This is seemingly the dimension in which Viktor resides when he is transforming into the Machine Herald the world in which he envisions his Glorious Evolution for humanity. It is bright, devoid of any imperfections, and eerily perfect. If you step off the marked spot on the ground, you will return to the map.
How much will VALORANT's Divergence collection cost?
It isn't known how much the Divergence collection will cost, but since the weapons all have new sounds and animations, along with three new variants, we can predict that this skin bundle will cost 8,700 VALORANT Points, with each weapon costing 2,175 VP each and the melee costing 4,350 by itself.
VALORANT's Divergence collection: Release date
The entire collection should be available in your store on Thursday, May 1, to help usher in the game's newest act. You still have time to look at the teasers available on Riot's official social media accounts to decide if you want to open up your wallet for this skin line.
