VCT EMEA Clash 2026: Everything you need to know
With the VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - EMEA Kickoff just having started, and Masters Santiago looming on the horizon, the 2026 season gets a surprise twist with the introduction of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - EMEA Clash.
Hosted and operated in partnership with Vanguard, the trusted operator of VALORANT Challengers MENA league, this debut event brings their expertise to a bigger stage.
“This isn’t just another tournament. It is a high-stakes collision between the established VCT EMEA titans and the rising stars of the Challengers circuits, all wrapped in a format inspired by the duality of the VALORANT lore.”
The Stakes: VCT Meets Challengers
With the top three VCT EMEA squads headed to VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 - Masters Santiago 2026 through Kickoff, the remaining six VCT EMEA teams are thrown back into competition. They'll face six teams from the Challengers circuits, creating a 12-team gauntlet.
The Format: Two Champions, One Event
Alpha and Omega:
Clash operates on a unique dual-bracket concept. Instead of a single bracket leading to one winner, two simultaneous double-elimination brackets run side by side: Alpha and Omega. By the end of the event, two separate champions will be crowned, each conquering their own world.
Seeding and the Randomized Draw
The tournament structure rewards past performance while introducing controlled chaos.
- The top four teams from VCT EMEA Kickoff earn byes directly into Round 2, giving them an advantage.
- The remaining two VCT EMEA squads and six Challengers representatives enter a randomized draw.
- There is just one critical rule: the two VCT EMEA teams from this pool must be placed in separate brackets.
The Twist: Crossing Dimensions
While the Alpha and Omega groups appear independent, they're tethered together through a "dimension-crossing mechanic". Starting in Round 2, teams that lose in the Upper Bracket of Alpha drop into the Lower Bracket of Omega, and vice versa. Your second chance comes with the catch that you’ll be thrown into a completely new world.
How to Watch
The clash begins February 19 and runs through February 22, with matches resuming February 24-25. Catch all the action on the official VCT EMEA YouTube or Twitch channels. Keep an eye on local Challengers channels for exclusive coverage of specific matches throughout the event.
Will the VCT EMEA veterans hold their ground, or will the Challengers teams manage to cause an upset? Tune in this February and witness the collision that sets new rivalries ahead of VCT EMEA Stage 2 Playoffs.
