Ahmed "ZE1SH" El Sheikh announced that his contract with Karmine Corp will end in September. The team has allowed ZE1SH to explore potential new offers.

Karmine Corp to bench ZE1SH

ZE1SH joined Karmine Corp as an assistant coach from Team Vitality in April of 2022. The 24-year-old coach has been with the organization as an assistant coach for about 1 year. During this time, he coached the team in 4 tournaments with team head coach Arthur "pm" Guillermet. ZE1SH was the team's assistant coach at VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo, where Karmine Corp lost 2:0 to LOUD in the Round of 16 and bid farewell to the tournament.

In April 2023, the French coach joined the active roster of Karmine Corp as a 5th player in VCT 2023: EMEA League - Regular when Alexis "Newzera" Humbert was benched due to poor results. Although Karmine Corp started the league with a BBL Esports win, it was decided to make a change in the team after 2:0 losses against Heretics in the second match of week 1, Liquid in week 2, and Vitality in week 3, respectively. After Newzera's 6-24-10 KDA in week 3 against Vitality match, he was benched the same day and replaced by assistant coach ZE1SH as a sub. Things didn't go well for Karmine Corp in the league despite the ZE1SH move, and the team ended the league with 2 wins and 7 losses in total, with 1 win after the change. KC failed to get into the playoffs of the event.

After poor results in the league, the team managed to defeat BBL Esports in their first match at the VCT 2023: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier, but then lost to against Giants Gaming and Natus Vincere, and their Champions dreams were shattered.

ZE1SH also said in his tweet that he is still in talks with Karmine Corp, and that the team allowed him to explore options.

Karmine Corp, which did not find a place in VALORANT Champions this year, seems to be making a big change in its roster for next season.

Current Karmine Corp roster:

  • Belgium Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom
  • Belgium Nabil "Nivera" Benrlitom
  • France Ryad "Shin" Ensaad
  • France Alexandre "xms" Forté
  • France Arthur "pm" Guillermet (Head Coach)
