EA FC 27 Ultimate Team lets you bring current stars, football legends, and your own Evolution players into one squad. You choose the formation, build the chemistry, and improve your XI through matches, transfers, and challenges. FC 27 adds Gallery collections and new single-player events, giving you more rewards to work toward alongside Rivals and Champions.

How to start EA FC 27 Ultimate Team in 3 steps
Set up your club and claim its early rewards before spending Coins on replacements.
Choose your starter league
Your Choose Your League selection affects your starting players and Foundations rewards. Inspect the reward cards and choose a league you want to build around. You can still use players from other leagues later.
Open your available welcome rewards before shopping. Bonuses depend on your account and edition; not every player will receive the same Packs or FC Points.
Complete Foundations Objectives
Foundations introduces the main systems while providing resources for your first squad.
Intro to SBCs and Intro to Streamlined SBCs are separate groups. Follow the exact challenge name in the Objective, and distinguish individual challenges from completed groups.
Claim both individual and group rewards. Foundations provides players, Packs, Coins, and SP that can reduce what you need to spend.
Build a balanced starter squad
Use preferred positions and a familiar formation. Prioritise dependable defenders, midfielders who can pass, and attackers suited to how you create chances.
Keep useful substitutes and Evolution candidates. Compare tradeable prices before Quick Selling cards or submitting them to SBCs.

Campaign Objectives offer Packs and players while you develop your starter squad.
Complete Ones We Watched AI challenges
Season 1’s Ones We Watched events offer rewards across separate difficulties.
These are key tasks, not the complete Objective lists. Check the remaining requirements, entry conditions, and deadlines before playing.
Start with manageable stages and improve your squad using their rewards. Later events can introduce stronger opponents, fixed difficulties, and stricter squad requirements.
Start Ones to Watch Exhibition progress early
The Exhibition rewards include Crysencio Summerville. Its tasks require appearances, assists, and scoring in up to 30 separate matches.
With nine daily attempts, reaching 30 scoring appearances takes at least four daily allowances if you score every time. Complete the remaining tasks too.
Combine compatible Foundations, event, and Evolution requirements whenever possible. Check their wording first: goals in one match cannot replace progress requiring separate matches.
How Gallery rewards work in Ultimate Team
Gallery gives collection value to eligible cards, including players outside your match squad.
Complete the Gallery Starter Set
Gallery Sets keep your players. Eligible cards remain recorded after you sell them or submit them to SBCs.
- Open Club, then Gallery.
- Select the five-player Starter Set.
- Use Autocomplete, then compare alternatives.
- Inspect the score and tag bonuses.
- Select Confirm Changes.
Grades run from D to S, with better rewards at higher grades. Cards can count in multiple Sets;
loans are excluded, and Evolution upgrades do not improve the original Gallery entry.
Use First Owner tag bonuses
First-owner cards can increase your collection score through these tag tiers.
Check the displayed score instead of selecting cards by overall rating alone. Other tags can reward combinations of clubs, nations, and card types.
Save Gallery Tokens toward a reward you want, including available Hall of FUT players.
EA FC 27 Ultimate Team SBCs and Evolutions
SBCs exchange cards for rewards, while Evolutions upgrade eligible players already in your club.
Check Streamlined SBC requirements
Streamlined SBCs use an Item Score target and support eligible duplicates and partial submissions.
Submitted cards are permanently removed immediately. EA cannot restore them, even if you leave the SBC unfinished. Check your selection and avoid unnecessary oversubmission.
Read the reward preview before repeating an upgrade. Gold Upgrade and Gold Re-Roll are different challenges.
Choose useful Evolution upgrades
Open Club, then Evolutions, and compare eligibility, cost, upgrades, and deadlines. Activate a suitable Evolution before playing compatible Objectives.
Use Chain Preview to inspect combinations. Branching choices lock when you claim the level’s rewards.
Choose upgrades that improve attributes or PlayStyles your team needs. A higher overall rating alone does not make an Evolution worthwhile.
How to earn Coins and unlock the Transfer Market
Market milestones offer Coin rewards, but new accounts must unlock buying access first.
Complete the Transfer Market milestone
The milestone awards:
- 15,000 Coins across the tasks for buying 50 players through Buy Now and listing 50 players.
- A 500-Coin boost for ten qualifying matches, worth another 5,000 Coins when fully used.
That is 20,000 Coins in potential rewards, not an immediate payment or guaranteed profit. Purchasing and reselling cards can cost Coins.
Finish the market access requirements
New accounts may need to complete the opening Foundations groups. After completion, full in-game access is granted within 48 hours on PC or 24 hours on other platforms.
Web and Companion App market access has separate requirements.
EA FC 27 Ultimate Team chemistry explained
Players earn up to three Chemistry Points through shared club, league, and nationality connections. Higher individual chemistry strengthens Chemistry Style boosts.
Use preferred positions and check the chemistry panel after changing your squad.
Which Ultimate Team modes should you play?
Choose AI practice, team play, or competitive matches according to your current goal.
Squad Battles and Rush
Squad Battles provides AI matches, compatible Objectives, and weekly ranking rewards. Refreshing opponents counts unplayed matches toward your weekly competition allowance, so check remaining matches first.
Rush suits team play and eligible Rush Objectives. Inspect player-selection bonuses and reward requirements before joining.
Rivals and Champions
Rivals offers online division progression and weekly rewards.
Champions uses a 15-match Finals format. Qualification Points come from Rivals or Squad Battles, and FC 27 has no Division 6 qualification requirement.
Improve weak positions before entering harder competitions.
How to earn SP in EA FC 27
Eligible matches award 15–100 SP, capped at 850 SP per day from matches. Season 1 ends October 22, 2026, while individual challenges may expire earlier.
Claim unlocked rewards through FC Hub, then Season. Before buying Premium Pass, check which rewards you can reach before the deadline.
