FURIA reveal star-studded roster as VALORANT entrance

In May, well-known esports organization Immortals announced that they would enter VALORANT, and revealed their first four players: Yannick “KOLER” Blanchette, Amgalan “Genghsta” Nemekhbayar, Noah “jcStani” Smith, and Joseph “Bjorlulu” Bjorklund. Today, the team revealed their final player as Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk.
Asuna comes from CS:GO, where he’s bounced around minor league teams like Good Game PR, Recon 5, and Triumph for the last two years. He’s perhaps most notable for being one of the youngest players in the Counter-Strike scene, as he is currently only 16 years old.
Asuna has been around in a few VALORANT tournaments so far. He stood in for Spot Up in several closed beta tournaments, including the first Fragedelphia Social Distancing tournament and both of the qualifiers for the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Invitational, and participated in the Elite Esports Rivalry Bowl NA with SoaR Gaming. Most recently and importantly, though, he played in the Twitch Rivals: VALORANT Launch Showdown with Team Jakenbakelive, along with the other Immortals members, with the exception of jcStani. The team finished second in their group, losing only to the future champions Team Brax. Asuna played the new agent Reyna in every game and top fragged against Team Brax and Team aceu. He, along with the rest of his team, was impressive, and there’s undoubtedly a bright future ahead of him in VALORANT.
Immortals' finalized roster is:
Yannick “KOLER” Blanchette Amgalan “Genghsta” Nemekhbayar Noah “jcStani” Smith Joseph “Bjorlulu” Bjorklund Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk
