Babybay joins FaZe Clan VALORANT roster

The organization announced the signing of Jason "jasonR" Ruchelski Jason "jasonR" RuchelskiTeam:Maps Played:0KPR:N/AADR:N/A and Corey "Corey" Nigra Corey "Corey" NigraTeam:FaZe ClanMaps Played:135KPR:0.9ADR:172.16 right before T1 x NSG Showdown, but jasonR wasn’t included in the playing squad for the actual tournament. Since then, they’ve parted ways with jasonR and have welcomed Zachary "ZachaREEE" Lombardo Zachary "ZachaREEE" LombardoTeam:FaZe ClanMaps Played:133KPR:0.67ADR:125.94 and Jimmy "Marved" Nguyen Jimmy "Marved" NguyenTeam:FaZe ClanMaps Played:135KPR:0.81ADR:142.8 to the team. Today, FaZe Clan have announced their VALORANT roster’s fourth member, Andrej "babybay" Francisty Andrej "babybay" FrancistyTeam:FaZe ClanMaps Played:119KPR:0.86ADR:151.34.

Babybay is a former Overwatch player, with several titles under his belt. The American player won the Rivalcade Weekly #8 North America early in his career with Splyce in 2017. He continued to find success with Kungarna, winning the Overwatch Rumble May Open Qualifier and finishing third in the Overwatch Rumble May. More recently, he finished ninth in the Overwatch League Inaugural Season and second in the Overwatch League 2019 Stage 1 Playoffs with the San Francisco Shock.

Babybay was part of the Atlanta Reign Overwatch team in the latter stages of his career, finishing sixth in the Overwatch League 2019 Regular Season and fifth in the Playoffs. The following year, he placed between 5 - 8th in both the Overwatch League 2020 May Melee and Summer Showdown.

He’s only participated in the Pittsburgh Knights Charity Invitational Qualifier under the banner The Aimers, and finished between the 13th-16th positions.
