Due to the current crisis in Ukraine, the Gambit Roster roster will compete as an independent team until the end of the VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 1 - Challengers - Main Event competition.

After the war in Ukraine started, Gambit Esports didn’t play any single game in VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 1 - Challengers - Main Event as their matches were postponed. As a result of this situation, the Russian organization allowed their players to play as an independent team under the name M3C until the end of the current season. The reason for this decision could have been Gambit's potential suspension from VCT competition, such as Gambit Esports and Virtus.pro CS:GO divisions in ESL Pro League Season 15, among others.

Naturally, the contracts between the players and the organization have not been broken, and this solution seems to be only temporary. The Russian team has played just two games so far. Gambit Esports defeated Team Liquid at the inaugural game of the season, but lost to FunPlus Phoenix a week later. At this point, the full schedule of postponed matches is not yet known but the next Gambit Esports' match is scheduled for March 16.

M3C is:

Russian Federation Ayaz "nAts" Akhmetshin Russian Federation Nikita "d3ffo" Sudakov Russian Federation Timofey "Chronicle" Khromov Russian Federation Bogdan "sheydos" Naumov Russian Federation Igor "Redgar" Vlasov

Russian Federation Andre "ENGH" Sholokhov (Coach)
