VALORANT keeps attracting not only the strict esports organizations but also those who are active among the streamers and content creators. Gonzo Gaming, that introduces themselves as “Gaming, Lifestyle & Entertainment Organization”, decided to enter the uncharted waters of the VALORANT esports scene.
The Colorado-based organization was created in late 2018 and besides having influencers to represent its name in the World, the organization also has players in games such as Fortnite and Call of Duty.
When it comes to VALORANT, Gonzo Gaming decided to sign a full North American squad, where four of the members were playing CS:GO as a team in the past. The squad approached the organization and at that moment consisted of Thanh “Savvy-T” Trac, who is also the team’s captain, Aiden “A77” Hill, Gabriel “LOLDEFUSE” Logreira, and Sean “Waterboi” Hill. As we learned from the Gonzo Gaming’s representatives, the organization has helped the squad by finding the fifth, missing player, who turned out to be Travis “Tdawgg” Regan.
“We expect VALORANT esports to be community-powered for the foreseeable future so it’s going to be a lot of variety but we want to quickly make a name in the scene & even host our own events. We hope to see some sort of leagues form with casting & stat tracking but will also be very active in any tournaments that offer good prize pools & exposure,” tells us Adam “Revibes” Miller, CEO of Gonzo Gaming.
The organization has decided to give a chance to the players that have not only the previous experience in FPS titles but are also over 18 years old, to provide the entire team a stable situation and sense of maturity. As Gonzo Gaming is not only focusing on the esports tournaments, they are seeking for players that are also individually active on the web by streaming and creating content, as those factors are also an important aspect for the American organization.
Gonzo Gaming lineup consists of:
