On January 31, MAD Lions announced their entry into the NA VALORANT scene by picking up a new roster. MAD Lions have signed the ex-Dark Ratio players Ange, ZexRow, drone, Trick, and Will. Dark Ratio had a solid run at the qualifiers as they made it to the VALORANT Challengers Leagues NA Split 1.

This is not MAD Lions’ first VALORANT roster. Last year, the organization competed at VRL 2022 France Revolution Stage 2 and placed second. However, they didn’t appear in this year’s Challengers, signaling a possible switch to the North American scene.

“We’re thrilled to join this exclusive group of talented players and notable organizations for the NA League’s inaugural season. VALORANT is today’s fastest-growing esport, and we’re proud to have made it through the competition,” said Adam Adamou, Chief Strategy Officer, OverActive Media.

New season brings new beginnings for MAD Lions

Last year, MAD Lions acquired the ex-TENSTAR roster to make their entrance to the scene in Europe. This year, they signed Dark Ratio to enter VALORANT in North America. Dark Ratio had an impressive run at VCT 2023 - Challengers League NA - Stage 1 - Open Qualifier 1 and booked a place at VCL NA Split 1. They took down sinatraa’s team, The Nation, and booted them out of the race. The new roster of MAD Lions is composed of Ange, Trick, drone, ZexCrow, and Will, who was replaced by Cryo at 100 Thieves. Will is the most experienced player on the roster as he competed at VALORANT Champions 2022 before. He currently maintains a 1.17 rating, the best on the roster.

MAD Lions’ full roster for the upcoming VALORANT Challengers Leagues season is:

Canada Adam "Ange" Milian United States Taylor "drone" Johnson United States Justin "Trick" Sears United States Anthony "ZexRow" Colandro Canada William "Will" Cheng
