According to a series of reports by Baserush and valorantzone.gg, Brazilian organization FURIA is looking to enter the VALORANT scene and have already approached players, specifically ex-B4 Esports members Alexandre "xand" Zizi and Leandro "frz" Fukuda Gomes, ex-RED Canids player Gustavo "Sacy" Rossi, and current Estral Esports player Matias "Saadhak" Delipetro.

FURIA are one of the bigger esports organizations in Brazil. They host a successful Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team, as well as rosters in Rainbow Six: Siege, League of Legends, and PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, among others. If the reported VALORANT team does come true, they’ll add another high-profile squad to their collection.

xand and frz were very successful with B4, reaching the semifinals of the First Strike Brazil Regional Final, and only recently left the team. xand in particular has become known as one of the best players in the region on his duelist role, while frz, a former Paladins professional, primarily played Sova for the team. As for Sacy, a high-profile former League of Legends professional and streamer, he played a wide variety of agents, including Sova, Omen, and Reyna, for RED Canids, who disbanded after failing to qualify for First Strike. Saadhak is currently the Sentinel player for Estral, who have cemented themselves as one of the best teams in Latin America with their victory in the First Strike LATAM South Regional Final.

According to valorantzone, FURIA’s intention is to create a roster that cannot only fight at the top in Brazil, but can also win international trophies. What is reported so far certainly seems like a great step in that direction. What do you think? Who could FURIA round out their roster with, and do they have what it takes to overcome teams like Gamelanders Blue? Let us know your thoughts?

    FURIA’s reported roster is:

Brazil Alexandre “xand” Zizi Brazil Leandro “frz” Gomes Brazil Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi Argentina Matias “Saadhak” Delipetro
