Riot introduces VCT LOCK//IN capsule featuring Misericórdia melee

Riot Games revealed a VCT 2023 LOCK//IN capsule featuring limited-edition melee, spray, and player cards.

While the next VCT event starting February 13, Riot has added some spice by releasing a fresh, limited-edition capsule. The special Misericórdia melee from the VALORANT VCT LOCK/IN capsule, which will be offered in four colors, is the star of the show. The red melee signifies VALORANT Champions Tour, while each version stands for a separate International League. Ahead of LOCK//IN, Riot published a blog post announcing the new goodies.

The VCT LOCK//IN capsule bundle

Riot has released a bunch of cool color variations to commemorate the largest VCT tournament to date.

This includes:

• Green Color Variant: VCT Americas
• Blue Color Variant: VCT Pacific
• Purple Color Variant: VCT EMEA
• Red Color Variant: VALORANT Champions Tour

The Misericórdia Knife will be included in the capsule along with cards with local themes so you can show off your local pride. The flavors of every location will be encapsulated in these VCT LOCK//IN capsules.

To honor the nation that is hosting the LOCK//IN competition, the capsule also includes a VAMOS! spray with a Brazilian motif. Naturally, it features VALORANT Agent Raze.

When does the VALORANT LOCK//IN capsule release?

Beginning on February 8, VALORANT will include the LOCK/IN capsule, which will be available for purchase until March 7. The package won't be available to VALORANT later through the in-game store or the Night.Market because it is a unique capsule to commemorate the kick off event in Brazil. This follows in the footsteps of the Champions bundles.

Riot to split the revenue with participating teams

By purchasing the capsule, you are supprting the teams competing in the VCT 2023 - LOCK//IN. The 32 VCT partnered teams will split a total of 50% of profits garnered from the sales of the limited-time capsule.

The 10 partners from North America, 10 partners from EMEA, 10 partners from the Pacific, and two invited Chinese teams, will all be there. The tournament will take place in São Paulo from February 13 to March 4.
