Rise are a North American organization founded in 2014 to compete in the Call of Duty Championships and who currently feature teams in Gears of War, Apex Legends, and Street Fighter. On Wednesday they picked up a North American VALORANT roster looking to enter the scene and push towards the top tier of competition.

Rise Nation picked up Rise consisting of Adam "Spirit" Wills, Justin "Ksiaze" Goszczynski, Todd "anger" Williams, Corey "ChurmZz" Koch and Rahmin "ShoukR" Shoukoohi. The core of this team, excluding ShoukR, is the Charlotte Phoenix lineup who pulled off a strong underdog run in the Pulse Invitational to bring home a 5th-6th place finish. Other than that result, the side has struggled to put pressure on the very top sides in North America, though the potential may be there. The two top performers on the team are ShoukR and Ksiaze who put up consistently strong performances, with ShoukR generally playing Sage for the team. anger tends to be the control player for the team putting in solid showings on Brimstone and Omen, occasionally flexing to Phoenix. Things may be trending up for this roster, in the Nerd Street Gamers x FaZe Clan Qualifier #1 qualifiers they came up just one match away from qualification, dropping to MIXUP in the semi-finals. If they can build off that performance, this lineup could establish themselves in the top 10-15 teams in North America.

    Rise’s lineup is:

United States Adam “Spirit” Willis United States Justin “Ksiaze” Goszczynski United States Todd “anger” Williams United States Corey “ChurmZz” Koch United States Rahmin “ShoukR” Shoukoohi United States Erik “dbizzle4shizzle” Stromberg (coach)
