Bogdan "sheydos" Naumov and Igor "Redgar" Vlasov have announced that they are leaving one of the top teams in the CIS region, M3 Champions, and open to new offers as free agents.

Sheydos was a prominent member of the long-running Gambit Esports, during the 2021 VCT Season. The 20-years-old Russian player played a crucial role in the triumph of M3 Champions and Gambit. In September of last year, the team prevailed at Masters Berlin, convincingly defeating Team Envy in the Grand Final. A tough battle against Acend, which they lost 3-2, gave them second place in VALORANT Champions 2021.

After sheydos, the 24-year-old IGL Redgar announced today that he is leaving the team and is open to new offers individually. In his tweet, Redgar also thanked his former teammates and team, just as Sheydos did.

Redgar joining Gambit Esports in January 2021 with Ayaz "nAts" Akhmetshin, Bogdan "sheydos" Naumov and Timofey "Chronicle" Khromov, he was the IGL of the same lineup for almost 2 years.

With the same squad Gambit won CIS Stage 1 Masters, victors of Stage 3 Masters: Berlin Masters 3, and runners-up in Champions 2021. The same team remained intact for the 2022 VCT circuit, but they had trouble matching their success from the year before. The team finished in the top six of Stage 1's EMEA Challengers, during which the squad underwent a rebranding to M3 Champions, and made no LAN appearances. M3C placed fourth in Stage 2's EMEA Challengers, falling just short of the top-three result that would have qualified them for Masters 2 Copenhagen. The team replaced Nikita "d3ffo" Sudakov before their EMEA Last Chance Qualifier run with Yaroslav "Jady" Nikolaev and Seymon "purp0" Borchev (substitute). With this somewhat modified lineup, M3C produced a strong showing in the LCQ competition, but a 3-1 loss against Team Liquid in the Grand Final meant that they once again came just short of earning a spot in an international event.

With 3 players leaving the M3C, it is highly likely that the rest of the player will be searching for new opportunities themselves.
