Team Liquid benches L1NK and signs Dreamas
Team Liquid have announced today that Travis "L1NK" Mendoza is moving to the inactive roster. His replacement will be Aurimas "Dreamas" Zablockis, who recently played for OG LDN Utd.
The VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 2 - Challengers - Main Event for Team Liquid started off pretty well. In the first two weeks they defeated BIG and BBL Esports. In week three they faced Guild Esports, where they were defeated in poor style by a team led by Jose Luis "koldamenta" Aranguren. In this match Liquid won one map, but they played quite poorly in the whole match. After this match Team Liquid decided to move Travis "L1NK" Mendoza to the bench. The British player was part of this team since July 2020 still under the name fish123.
After less than two years L1NK is leaving the team he built with ScreaM and soulcas. He will be succeeded by Aurimas "Dreamas" Zablockis, who was moved to the bench at OG LDN Utd before the start of VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 2 - Challengers - Main Event, with hype taking his place. His contract with LDN UTD came to an end a few days ago, making Team Liquid decide to sign the Lithuanian for the remainder of the current stage. Dreamas debut for Team Liquid will take place today in the fourth round against Natus Vincere.
Now Team Liquid is:
