In recent efforts to revamp their roster, 100 Thieves has announced another change – perhaps the biggest one yet. They announced, through a Tweet, that Joshua "steel" Nissan will be transferring out of 100 Thieves effective immediately.

100 Thieves had been in considerably strong form lately by placing 3rd-4th in VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - Masters Berlin - Playoffs. Being one of the three NA team participants in the event was itself a major achievement. Despite their consistent performances throughout the VCT, they were unable to make the VCT 2021 - VALORANT Champions 2021, which is currently underway. They missed out on the opportunity courtesy of Cloud9, who secured their spot after winning VCT 2021 - North America Last Chance Qualifier. 100 Thieves had benched steel following Masters Berlin and promoted b0i to the main roster with seven joining as a substitute.

However, it was after VCT 2021 - North America Last Chance Qualifier that 100 Thieves started a major revamp of their roster by initially parting ways with FrosT, their head coach, and a few days with Quan "dicey" Tran and Aaron "b0i" Thao. Joshua "steel" Nissan had been a significant part of the 100 Thieves roster 4th September 2020 and has led the team in all its VCT endeavors except the Last Chance Qualifiers as he had been benched before the tournament began. With this roster change, the 100 Thieves roster is as follows:

United States Spencer "Hiko" Martin United States Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella United States Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk United States Ethan "Ethan" Arnold

Mexico Johann "seven" Hernandez (substitute)

Since the announcement denoted this change as a transfer, Joshua "steel" Nissan will soon be made part of a reputable team’s roster, most likely T1 as the rumour.
