100 Thieves has officially parted ways with Initiator player Daniel "eeiu" Vucenovic ahead of the VCT 2026 season, marking the end of a two-year tenure with the team.

The VCT 2025 season has been met with constant disappointment, as 100 Thieves were unable to match their 2024 performance, missing out on all three VCT international events in 2025. Now, the team will be looking at rebuilding in the offseason as it has been revealed that they have parted ways with Initiator player eeiu ahead of the coming season.

100 Thieves found themselves as a middle-of-the-pack team all throughout 2025, where their best moment came at the start of VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Americas Stage 2, where the team took down eventual world champions NRG to kickstart their quest for VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Valorant Champions.

Despite swapping out in-game leader Kelden "Boostio" Pupello for QoR star Drew "Kess" Lee, the team could not break past 5th-6th place in Stage 2, where their season came to an end at the hands of Cloud9 in the playoffs.

    Eeiu’s two-year tenure with 100 Thieves

Eeiu joined 100 Thieves following a one-year stint over at M80 where he came in second place to The Guard at VCT 2023 - Challengers Ascension: AMERICAS. Throughout his two-year tenure with 100 Thieves, eeiu established himself as a top Initiator in the Americas region. He helped 100 Thieves win VCT 2024 - Americas Stage 1 in 2024, followed by an impressive fourth-place finish at VCT 2024 - Masters Shanghai.

Eeiu has been linked to joining the new North American iteration of FURIA ahead of the VCT 2026 season. It will be interesting to see if he can maintain his form with a new team as the Initiator player moves forward into his third season in Tier 1 VALORANT.

If rumors are true, he would be teaming up with former M80 teammate Gianfranco "koalanoob" Potestio as the two would look to usurp expectations for the team in 2026.
