Now that Stage 1 has drawn to a close across the entirety of the VCT, the time has come to take a closer look at how the champions performed. As winners of their regions, the Stage 1 champions earned themselves a ticket straight to the playoffs at VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Masters Toronto 2025, where they will compete to extend their dominance to the international stage.

But which of the four champions looks poised for victory in Toronto? Let's go ahead and take a look at their Stage 1 stats.

    G2 Esports' structured assaults

Thanks to their structured style of play and consistency of execution, G2 Esports head into Toronto as the Stage 1 winners with the highest Attack side win rate at 55.92%. The VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Americas Stage 1 Champions were utterly dominant on their preferred map of Ascent as well, boasting an impressive 5-1 record throughout the tournament.

After a grueling run through the Lower Bracket in the Americas, G2 were ultimately able to lift the trophy after 34 total maps played, the most out of any Stage 1 winners by a considerably margin. Now, G2 will have earned some much needed rest as the squad gets to jump straight into the playoffs of Masters Toronto.

    Fnatic dominate on Split

Much like G2 over in the Americas, Fnatic looked nearly unbeatable on their preferred map pick. During the course of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - EMEA Stage 1, Fnatic went 5-1 on Split to demonstrate their superiority on the map.

Despite EMEA looking stacked with talent this time around, Fnatic still managed to put up a 58.56% win rate at Stage 1; a number that is all the more impressive when considering the team won just 47.92% of their pistol rounds. The team's ACS of 203.8 showcase Fnatic are a team that will often win games through superior calling and mid-round decision-making, rather than through outright firepower.

    XLG: A scary beast approaches

Simply put, no team was able to win their region quite as dominantly as XLG Esports did at the VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - China Stage 1. XLG's win rate of 62.08%, for starters, is the highest out of all Stage 1 winning teams. It's the team's outrageous overall ACS of 226.6, however, that really paints the full picture of XLG's destructive power throughout the tournament.

With the entirety of XLG preparing to make their first appearance at an international tournament in the VCT, it will be interesting to see whether the squad manages to keep up their level of play when teams turn up the heat at Masters Toronto.

Rex Regum Qeon look to pick up the pace

The VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 - Pacific Stage 1 winners of Rex Regum Qeon show up to Toronto with some of the weaker stats among the Stage 1 Champions, like the lowest ACS (198.7) or the lowest overall win rate (51.61%). While this may well be the case due to the incredibly competitive nature of the Pacific during Stage 1 – where even the reigning Masters Champions of T1 were eliminated early on in the playoffs – RRQ will still head to Toronto hungry to prove the belong at the top.

The team's 46.60% win rate on Defense and their 46.30% pistol round win rate could turn out to be a problem when going up against some of the best teams in the world, though. To show up ready to compete on the international stage, these are some of the aspects to their game that the Pacific Champions will want to work on ahead of Masters Toronto.

    Champions Clash

Masters Toronto promises to deliver some of the highest level of VALORANT to date. With the Stage 1 winners taking different paths to victory, it will be exciting to see all of these champions battle it out in what will be a clash of styles.

While XLG carry on their rampant run? Can G2's methodical approach finally win them an international tournament? Will Rex Regum Qeon continue to level up to compete against some of the best teams in the game? Or will Fnatic's experience shine through when they need it the most? All answers await in Toronto.
