Alliance have decided to bench their entire roster, Mathias "SEIDER" Seider revealed through his Twitter account today.

The European roster had the most success at the end of 2021, where they qualified for and placed 7th-8th at VCT 2021 - Stage 3 - Europe - Challengers 2 and picked up podium finishes at Finest Invitational and VOT France - Finals. However, they have been unable to replicate those performances this year, missing out on VCT 2022 - EMEA - Stage 1 - Challengers - Main Event and placing 4th at VRL - Northern Europe: Polaris - Stage 1 - Main Event, which meant they were unable to play at the VCT Promotion tournament.

That was the team’s last event together, as Sigurd "Zik" Jensen and Fnatic stand-in Enzo "Enzo" Mestari were benched in March and now Tautvydas "hype" Paldavicius, Niels "luckeRRR" Jasiek, and Mathias "SEIDER" Seider are all also out of the team. The former two were the longest standing members of Alliance, having joined in January 2021 and spent more than a year with the organization, while the latter had come in late last year.

The future of this trio remains unknown for now, given that SEIDER has stated that he is still under contract but is allowed to explore other options. It will be interesting to see where they will go and how the team rebuilds ahead of VCT 2022 EMEA Stage 2.
