T1 have announced that Timothy "autimatic" Ta has joined their lineup for the VALORANT Champions Tour.

autimatic had a long and successful career in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, representing some of the biggest organizations around in the form of TSM, Cloud9, and Gen.G. One of the biggest highlights of his nearly 8-year span in the pro scene would be winning the ELEAGUE Boston 2018 Major with Cloud9, a moment that has come to define North American CS:GO. autimatic spent this past year with Gen.G, a roster that was always solidly at the top in North America but never quite lived up to its potential.

No word has been given on whether or not a player will be replaced in T1’s VALORANT team, or whether autimatic will be joining as a sixth man, the likes of which we’ve already seen in VALORANT with Team Heretics and paiN Gaming, among others. The move also comes directly after David Denis joined the team as their new head coach.

    T1’s current roster is:

United States Braxton “Brax” Pierce Canada Keven “AZK” Larivière United States Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham United States Sam “DaZeD” Marine South Korea Ha “Spyder” Jung-woo United States Timothy “autimatic” Ta

    Canada David Denis (Coach)
