Bambino joins KOI as team analyst and assistant coach

KOI have announced another signing, this time for the team's coaching staff. Tyler "Bambino" Jay has joined the organization to take on the team analyst and assistant coach responsibilities. Bambino will work alongside André “BARBARR” Möller, who is currently the head coach.

Bambino completes the coaching staff of KOI

KOI are one of the ten organizations that got accepted VCT International League as a partnered organization. They were one of the latest teams to make a full roster announcement due to Patryk "starxo" Kopczynski's late arrival. On February 3, KOI have also completed the coaching staff with the joining of Bambino. The head coach BARBARR and the strategic coach Alex "goked" Kie were the only members of the coaching staff before the latest announcement. BARBARR worked for Guild Esports before and goked was a member of Case Esports. The trio will work together for the first time.

Bambino’s coaching career started back in 2021. He first competed for AREA as a coach and analyst. After leaving the organization to join OG LDN Utd, he made the jump. He signed a contract as an analyst but then worked as an assistant to Tommaso “joYnt” Gavioli. He spent the off-season without working for any team until the announcement of him joining KOI. He spent the majority of his career with OG and helped the team during VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers. OG grabbed only one win in groups and saw four losses.

KOI will compete at VCT 2023 LOCK//IN event. This year, they will come up against the best teams in the world, and with the arrival of Bambino, their roster is now composed of the following:

  • Russian Federation Nikita "trexx" Cherednichenko
  • Bulgaria Berkant "Wolfen" Joshkun

  • United Kingdom Tyler "Bambino" Jay (Assistant Coach)
