BEACON Game Changers Contenders Qualifier opens signups for UK and Nordic players

The path to professional VALORANT just opened a little wider. The BEACON Game Changers Contenders Series 2 Qualifier is now accepting signups, offering amateur and semi-pro female players from the UK and Nordics a rare chance to break into the top tiers of competition. Registration closes Thursday, July 3 at 2:00 PM BST, with the tournament kicking off on Saturday, July 5.

A Launchpad for Aspiring Pros

Backed by Riot Games, BEACON is an official qualifier for the Game Changers EMEA Contenders Series 2, a vital stepping stone toward the global stage. The tournament isn’t just about prestige: the winning team will earn a £1000 prize and a direct qualification spot into the Game Changers circuit, making it a high-stakes proving ground for Europe’s rising stars.

For many, this is the first major leap toward the Game Changers Championship and even the VALORANT Champions Tour.

Empowering the Next Generation

BEACON plays a vital role in strengthening the women’s VALORANT ecosystem in Northern Europe. The Game Changers circuit has already been instrumental in building up talent like SK Nebula’s Jade "jademwah" Duffy, who credited the system with helping shape her esports journey.

The tournament is open to both full teams and solo players looking to get their start. Team captains can sign up their squads directly HERE, while solo participants can fill out the Looking for Team form to be matched with others.

All registration must be completed by July 3 at 2:00 PM BST.

The tournament begins July 5 at 1:00 PM BST and concludes with the Grand Finals on Sunday, July 13 at 3:00 PM BST. Fans can tune in live at twitch.tv/megsoundslikeegg, hosted by FNATIC’s official VALORANT streamer Meg, to watch Europe’s emerging talent fight for their chance at the big leagues.
