The Oceanian leg of the VCT 2022 Circuit has come to an end as two of the strongest teams in the region battled against each other. After beating ORDER in the finals, Bonkers lifted the regional trophy to represent Oceania at VCT 2022 - APAC Challengers.

    Game 1

Bonkers picked Fracture to start the series with their strong side but ORDER demolished their opponents. While on the defending side, ORDER won nine rounds to have themselves a huge advantage before switching sides. As a result, the first map ended with a score of 13-4 in favor of ORDER. Matthew "Texta" O'Rourke stepped up for his team, securing 18 kills on Astra, holding a 1.39 rating on the top of 2.0 K/D.

    Game 2

ORDER’s pick was Breeze, one of their lowest-picked maps of all time (10 times). They picked Breeze only once, against MEOW MEOW which resulted in a 13-5 win. However, Bonkerz played their hearts out from the very start and won the map after 21 rounds. Nick "tixx" Quinn had a magnificent Viper performance, scoring 19 kills and holding a 1.36 rating to help his team win. On the other side, Cameron "disk0" Mac did his best with 19 kills and a 1.25 rating but it wasn’t enough. Bonkers evened the series after game two.

    Game 3

It was Bonkers’ pick Bind in the third game of the series. ORDER made an impressive start to the map, securing nine rounds on the defending side but Bonkers turned things around in the second half. Riley "rDeeW" Wilkinson’s Chamber did most of the job for them as they won the map with a score of 14-12. The Australian player contributed to his team with 26 kills and a 1.32 rating to get in the lead.

    Game 4

It was a do or die for the favorites, ORDER. Their pick was Icebox which they played 30 times until now. Kale "autumn" Dunne popped off with his Jett performance for the first time in the series but Bonkers’ team chemistry was better in general. Bonkers players had similar stats besides Jackson "Minimise" Nicholas White taking a step forward with a 1.47 rating. The team managed to pull out a surprise and beat their strong opponents with a score of 3-1.
